Stirling Trailers is Westbrook Trailers main product line, offering many different sized trailers for your needs. You can find Stirling at many major hardware retailers such as Rona, Lowes, Canadian Tire, and Home Hardware. Stirling Trailers come with a unique Galvalume finish, which is corrosion resistant. This gives your trailer a rust-free finish for the long haul.

Marathon Trailers is Westbrook Trailers more streamlined product line, offered exclusively at Home Depot. The Marathon line of utility trailers has been designed with you in mind. The unique ability to adapt to almost any load is unmatched, making them the most flexible trailers in their class. Let’s face it, we never know what we will carry from one day to the next, but its good to know that whatever you put in it, these trailers can handle it.

The first thing that comes to mind with this 4 x 6 all weather trailer is the fit and finish. Every nut, bolt, and component has been carefully designed to ensure tight tolerances when assembling. The design and engineering folks did a great job to ensure the common builder can put this trailer together without disappointing issues. Just FOLLOW the instructions one step at a time. Living in the Pacific Northwest I will be using marine grade plywood and pressure treated lumber to finish this garden tractor size trailer.

I’ve had this trailer for a number of years and it has repeated shown its value and capability. It’s been used for moving household items, yard equipment, landscape materials, lumber, etc.

Nothing had made this trailer flinch. It’s light to pull and has a very reasonable capacity. The ability to extend the bed is very useful for those occasions you want to carry 8′ sheet goods, the tie downs are handy and the rear ramp invaluable for loading and unloading items.

Best of all, despite heavy usage and outdoor storage it has proven exceptionally resistant to rust.

I’ve used this trailer hard over the years. I transport my ATV with snow plow in the winter. Lumber, landscape materials and everything else during the rest of the year. This trailer handles it all. It’s size saves room in the driveway yet the front folds down allowing more storage space. You’ll get 4×8 sheet of plywood in there with room to spare. Highly recommend this utility trailer.

The Stirling trailer is very versatile and handy to have. We have been using it for a couple months.we have used trailer to move ATV, Lawnmower and numerous other things over the last couple months. Trailer could be towed by ATV which was very handy around here to complete jobs. The only thing I would like to see changed is the built in ramps could be about a foot longer for a couple reasons. When loading a lawnmower the ramps are little short and well towing trailer if they where longer you would be able to see trailer.

  • Utility Trailer: 15”
  • Boat Trailer: 14”
  • Kit Trailer equipped with 8” Wheels: 13”
  • Kit Trailer equipped with 12” Wheels: 15”

How can I determine if my car can haul this – how do I find the payload or GVWR?

Determining the payload, GVWR, or empty weight of the trailer can be done using the following formulas:

  • Maximum Payload = GVWR - Trailer weight

  • Trailer weight = GVWR - Maximum Payload

To determine if your vehicle can haul a trailer, you will consult your vehicle Owner’s Manual and the information from above to determine if the trailer falls within your vehicle’s hauling capabilities.

Yes, the landacape gate can be used as a drive-on gate, it has been designed to handle
50% of the payload of the trailer. It can also fold-inside the bed of the trailer to accomodate longer loads.

How much weight can the gate of my trailer handle?

Do you manufacture sides for my trailer?

trailers come with the stake pockets required to build sides to customize the trailer to
    fit your needs.
  • Utility Trailers: Our solid side utility trailers come equipped with 15” sides and we do
not manufacture taller sides at this time. We do not manufacture any side panel options for our open rail side trailers.
